Workable is one of the platforms the Jobiko extension runs on. Here is exactly what it does there, how an application moves from posting to submission, and what stays in your hands.
Filling the application form
Workable has a form map: the extension knows where Workable puts its standard fields, such as name, contact details, links and the resume upload. Questions specific to the employer are matched to your profile by their label.

What's specific to Workable
- The Workable form map covers first and last name, email, phone, LinkedIn, GitHub and resume upload.
- Postings on an employer's Workable careers page and the application on apply.workable.com are both covered.
- Workable's own cookie widget is never clicked for you, because its first button may mean Accept.
How an application on Workable goes
Extract the posting
Open the Workable posting, open the Jobiko side panel and press Extract. Jobiko reads the role and shows how well it matches your profile.
Tailor the documents
Jobiko writes a resume and a cover letter for that posting from what you have actually done, and shows you both.
Review, then submit
Autofill puts your answers into the Workable form. By default nothing is sent until you have checked every field and pressed Workable's own submit button, or approved it in the auto-apply queue. If you turn on Auto-approve on the Auto-apply screen, auto-apply submits for you instead, with a short window to undo each one.
Auto-apply uses the same autofill on these platforms. By default it waits for your approval before anything is submitted; you can turn on Auto-approve on the Auto-apply screen. How auto-apply works →
Questions
- Does Jobiko submit applications on Workable by itself?
- Not unless you turn that on. By default, on Workable as everywhere, every answer and both documents are shown to you before anything is sent. If you turn on Auto-approve on the Auto-apply screen, Jobiko submits for you, and you can switch it off at any time.
- What happens when the Workable form asks something my profile does not have?
- The field is handed back to you, highlighted, with the rest of the form filled. Jobiko does not pick the closest-looking option to keep things moving.
- What does Jobiko send to AI providers for an application on Workable?
- The posting text and the parts of your profile needed to tailor the documents and map unfamiliar form fields. The privacy policy lists the providers and what each receives.
- Is Workable included on the free plan?
- Extracting postings and the tracker are. Autofill and auto-apply are part of the Basic and Pro plans (100 and 200 autofills a month).
