How auto-apply works
Auto-apply tailors your resume and cover letter to each posting you choose, fills the employer's form from your profile, then waits: nothing is sent until you approve it, unless you turn on Auto-approve on the Auto-apply screen. It is included in the Basic and Pro plans.
From posting to submitted, in three steps
Start
Pick a posting in Jobs and press Start auto-apply.
Review
Read every answer and both documents. Change anything.
Submit
Press Approve & submit. It goes to the employer’s site.
You start it, per posting
Auto-apply never runs on its own. You choose a posting in Jobs and press Start auto-apply. Jobiko then tailors a resume and cover letter to that posting and fills the supported fields of the employer's form from your profile.
Review is on by default; Auto-approve is your call
Every prepared application stops in your queue with each answer and both documents shown. Nothing is sent until you press Approve & submit.
If you would rather not approve each one, turn on Auto-approve in the settings of the Auto-apply screen. Applications then go out without stopping for your review, after a short undo window, and a question your profile cannot answer still comes to you. It applies to new applications only, and you can turn it off at any time.
When a form asks something your profile does not answer, the application pauses
A question Jobiko cannot answer from your profile pauses the application and hands that field to you. It does not pick the closest-looking option to keep going.
What counts against your plan
An application counts once its documents are generated: 100 a month on Basic, 200 on Pro. That includes one you cancel before it is sent; one you cancel before anything is generated, or that fails on the employer's site, does not use an allowance. Counts reset on the first day of each month.
Sending is also paced with a daily limit that depends on your plan. Once it is reached, remaining applications wait until the next day.
Where it works
On the platforms listed on the supported sites page, with a form map where one exists and AI field mapping elsewhere. Some employer forms cannot be completed automatically; when that happens the application stays in your queue with a link to finish it by hand.
What Jobiko sends to AI providers
Tailoring the documents and mapping unfamiliar form fields send the relevant parts of your profile and the posting to external AI providers. The privacy policy lists which providers, what they receive, and how long anything is kept.
Does auto-apply hurt your application?
It does when it sends the same generic application to hundreds of roles. In a Greenhouse survey published in November 2025 (4,136 job seekers, recruiters and hiring managers), 34% of recruiters and hiring managers said they spend up to half their week filtering spam and junk applications. Ten identical applications get noticed.
