Some job offers in the Jobiko app come from France Travail, the French public employment service, through its “Offres d’emploi” API. We reuse them under the France Travail “Licence Offres d’emploi”. Article 4 of that licence asks every reuser to describe the changes it makes to the offers. This page is that description.

1. Where these offers appear #

France Travail offers are shown only inside the signed-in Jobiko app. They are never published on jobiko.org’s public job pages.

Each offer’s full view shows the source (“Source: France Travail”), the date France Travail last updated the offer, a statement that the offer is reused under the Licence Offres d’emploi with a link to it, and a link to this page.

2. What we change #

  1. Format. The offer’s fields arrive as structured data. We assemble them into one plain-text description: the offer’s own text first, then the contract, salary, experience, qualification, training, skills, personal qualities, languages, driving licences, working conditions, travel, sector, number of positions and the employer’s description, each under a short French label (for example “Contrat : …”). HTML tags are removed and line breaks are kept.
  2. Personal contact details are left out. The recruiter’s name, email address and phone number are not shown, to limit the personal data we hold. The link on each offer opens it on the France Travail website, where the complete offer and the way to apply are available.
  3. Location. The work location is written as “town, France” (for example “Paris 15e Arrondissement, France”) without the department number.
  4. Search filters. To let you filter offers, we derive a contract type and a level of seniority from the offer’s contract field and title, and detect the language of the offer. These values are used for filtering; the offer’s text is not changed by them.
  5. Duplicates. When the same offer reaches us from more than one source, we may show a single copy of it.

3. What we do not change #

  • We do not rewrite, summarise, shorten or translate the title or the text of an offer.
  • We show the employer logo France Travail provides with the offer, when there is one, and do not replace it with another logo.
  • The dates shown are the ones France Travail gives: the date the offer was last updated (or, failing that, its publication date).

4. How offers are kept up to date #

We read the France Travail API at least once every 24 hours and apply the creations, changes and withdrawals it reports. An offer that is no longer available from France Travail is removed from the app within 36 hours and deleted from our database.
